honestly, I started YSLA because I was frustrated with my own wardrobe.

I have activewear I like. But every gym set I owned was too gym coded — leggings that scream leg day, sets that only make sense next to a squat rack. I wanted the comfort of activewear without looking like I was on a gym break.

That piece doesn't really exist in the market. Not the way I wanted it. Everything reads as either athletic, branded and loud, or expensive lounge you can't actually move in. There wasn't much in the middle.

So I made it.

YSLA is designed in Helsinki, made through our production partners, and shipped worldwide. Every piece works as a set. The Soft Sculpt fabric is buttery but structured, and it moves with you. The palette stays quiet — cream, oxblood, brown, black — because these are pieces you wear all day, not a uniform for the gym.

I care about the small things. The way a waistband sits. The exact tone of cream that reads soft, not stark. The moment a customer messages me saying she wore her set out and someone asked where it was from.

YSLA is still small. It's growing. Right now, I'm the one behind every part of it. The pieces I designed. The messages I answer. The decisions about what shade we're making next. Our production partners handle the making and shipping.
